Sheikh Jarrah controversy | The history ignored

The Sheikh Jarrah properties in question were initially owned by Chief Rabbi Avraham Ashkenazi and Chief Rabbi Meir Orbach until the War of Independence in 1948, after they purchased it in 1875 from its Arab owners.

Jordan captured Jerusalem in the 1948 war and evicted all the Jews from the city!!

Now the Jews with the deeds have gone to courts (since the 1970s) proving that they legally own the land and that the Arabs should pay rent, but they refuse and so the move to evict.

Hundreds of thousands of Arabs live in and around Sheikh Jarrah and they are not affected, this is a story about 58 people !
